Nausea Symptoms

Nausea is one of the many symptoms of IBS (also known as Irritable Bowel Syndrome,) and it is that feeling of queasiness or wanting to be sick, throw up or vomit. Remember that nausea is a symptom of something else that may be going on in your body. It could be a reaction to an illness that you are unaware of. Consider some of the common physical symptoms that are often associated with an anxiety attack ranging in severity from mild to moderate when deciding whether or not it's time to seek some sort of help for your anxiety condition.

If you are pregnant than you probably noticed that the first of cramping and nausea are the most powerful during the first four months, but you need to take that information with a grain of salt, because some women experience those symptoms differently - for the better and for the worse. You experience two different things, and you need to treat them as such - as independent from one another. This is one of the physical symptoms of an anxiety attack that is most often accredited to something else. If you begin to notice a pattern for your nausea it's time to take stock of the instigators.

Morning sickness is not just confined during early mornings. During the day, you may experience nausea and vomiting several times. During the day, nausea is commonly triggered by unpleasant odors such as cigarette smoke and strong cologne scent. Heartburn nausea is the uncomfortable feeling in the chest area and being sick down the stomach. There is heat and pressure in the throat and the tendency is to vomit violently.

Rapid changes in hormonal balance, heightened sensitivity to certain foods, and an enhanced sense of smell with increased sensitivity to certain odors are a few. Fortunately, the symptoms will eventually pass. In the meantime, when it seems they will last forever, physicians can prescribe medicines that alleviate the discomfort from most symptoms.

Pregnancy nausea in your third trimester is really no different than getting it in your first trimester. Yes, your body is different, and your baby is in a different state of development, but you can plan on attacking the problem with similar methods in any trimester. It might be time for a discussion with your doctor. In addition, there a number of natural anxiety remedies that are an excellent method to begin treating and removing the physical symptoms of anxiety from your life.

It is very important that you know what your triggers are because drugs such as anticholinergics only mask the symptoms of the ailment without really addressing the cause of the problem. Regardless of when the nausea occurs the symptoms can be minimized by eating smaller snacks instead of large meals; eating foods that are high in complex carbohydrates such as toast, steamed rice, baked potatoes, bananas, and honey. One of the alternative remedies that are suggested to aid in the alleviation of nausea during pregnancy is the use of ginger. Ginger is contained in some ginger ales; frequently, ginger ales containing real ginger will be found in health food stores.
