Monsoon Hair Care

The rainy season is knocking at the door and its time for having some extra care for the hair, as the monsoon is not really a good friend for your tresses. This is the time when you are going to face problems like limpness, greasiness and hair fall. But at the same time it should be kept in mind that dying is not always safe or damage free procedure as these hair dyes contains several strong chemicals so unless you know exactly how to combine chemicals and treatments and what you are doing it will be wise of you if you better leave the process of dying to a trained professional just to escape any kind of damage.

Monsoons are a reason to shuffle your wardrobe and pull out the funky clothes you had kept away for months. Get back into your dungarees matched with funky bright t-shirts either in floral prints or in pastels. It has a strong bond with music. The pitter patter sound of the rain droplets on the window pane makes us to dance and sing. Looking at the rain droplets hitting the ground, we cannot help remembering the song 'singing in the rain' from the movie Singing in the Rain where Gene Kelly has been shown dancing with the song while splashing through puddles during a storm. To make your monsoons more happening and chic, add a bit of funky monsoon accessories to your regular dressing. Go shopping for some latest trendy raincoats and umbrellas that add a dash of spice to your monsoon dressing.

Walking in dirty water during rainy season leads to numerous fungal infections which affect toes and nails. Diabetic patients have to take a special care about their feet. Always keep your feet dry and clean. Avoid walking in dirty water. Keep your shoes, socks and raincoats dry and clean. Now here are some extra tips that you can follow for the better treatment of your hair during the monsoons. Frizzy hair is a common problem in monsoons, as excess humidity in the environment makes the hair dry and coarse. When humidity is low (amount of water vapour is less in air), the evaporation from the surrounding areas is rapid. Hence the clothes dry quickly, soil dries up, sweat evaporates from skin etc. The biggest skin problem during the monsoon is fungal infections. As fungus is born in humid weather, it easily grows and enters the skin throw wet pores. As a result, one develops itchy, circular, reddish, flaking patches on the body, underarms and around the breast in women.

Exercising, be it indoors or outdoors, should be comfortable and playful. You have many options to make your work out regime enjoyable. Creating a home gym is easy and inexpensive. Buy a set of dumbbells, an exercising ball or a jump rope. Walking up and down stairs for around 20 minutes also provides an efficient workout. Hair Conditioner is a way of giving the hair the nourishment it needs to look good. The hair follicles receive nourishment from the bloodstream, but the hair shafts ceases to receive nourishment by way of external care.
